Enjoying the Mediterranean Flavour of Beirut with Sakina Deer
Beirut Mediterranean Cuisine took Sakina Deer on a palatable expedition to Lebanon.
She brought along her beau Patrick Brown for this palatable expedition. The ambience helped to set an intimate yet family friendly feel to the night.
Deer ordered the popular hommos with pita bread for the appetiser, while he ordered the fattouch which is a Mediterranean salad which consisted of fresh vegetables topped with toasted Arabic bread with special spices and lemon oil sauce.
Soon Deer found herself balancing between the hommos and Brown's salad which she seemed to thoroughly enjoy.
When it came to the main course, she ordered the chicken stroganoff with vermicelli rice and a side salad which was her favourite of the night. The surprise of the mushrooms and the flavourful sauce complemented by the sweet peppers sent her palate in a tailspin. Brown had the Beirut Mixed Grill which had charcoal grilled beef, chicken and minced lamb kebabs. The lamb was his favourite and Deer could not help herself but try the chicken. She gave a smile of approval but they both tried to save a place for their desserts.
Chocolate cake for Deer and a smooth strawberry cheesecake for Brown and the two enjoyed a sweet ending to a flavourful night, with much laughter.
